Paleo Journey - Looking for the Solution 30 days of finding me.

I stumbled upon a phenomenal book title "The Paleo Solution" by Mr. Robb Wolf. The book is fantastic and it has opened my eyes to a wonderful new feeling, and a new view on the foods that I consume. I ate "paleo" for five days in a row, and I haven't felt so balanced through out the day in my life. I consumed lean proteins and tons of greens, and of course lot's of H2O. I didn't go through the cravings like most people said would happen after three days, and I was going strong.

Although my eyes were wide and my mind open, I fell apart during the week and caved to the dreaded pizza. During a training course at work, our instructor bought pizza for all. I hadn't prepared my lunch or any snacks and good ol' hunger did me in. I ate two pieces of pizza, which is much less than my normal four slices, and boy did I feel the pain. The bloating and heaviness were back, and I hated it. I hadn't felt this miserable all week, and two slices of pizza and a cup of pepsi was all it took to remind me of how bad the "grains" really were.


Through the pain I realized just how special Paleo can be, and I am ready to begin the journey to a new feeling, a new feeling of relief, energy, and great sleep. I will be blogging my journey and will also create weekly youtube videos documenting my progress through the 30 day plan.
